Lingering Look at Windows : On the way home

South Johnson

South Johnson

Yesterday we stopped for lunch at this colourful café in South Johnstone a small rural town of about 480 people, is 10 km south of Innisfail and 80 km south-east of Cairns.

Can you see Jack enjoying his lunch?

Can you see Jack enjoying his lunch? Look carefully and you can also see Matilda…

The main industry is the sugar cane factory and it is harvest season and the mill is in full production with the cane trains, loaded with the cane for processing, trundling down the main street. 3 went by as we ate our lunch. That is smoke from the factory drifting across in the distance. Notice the iconic Queensland pub across the road.

Dawn from ” The day after” has a challenge to find windows and post them each week. I love these Word Press challenges they open your eyes to the world around you. I also enjoy looking through all the other interesting and varied windows from around the world. Go to Dawns link, you may have some windows you can show us.
