The challenge this week almost had me stumped, I see everything in colour and find it hard to visualise the world in black and white or even the many shades of grey… But I enjoy the challenges from “Let’s be wild” so have thought about what I can submit this week.
Then I had one of those light bulb moments…. Many of the Australian birds are black and white…
So this is my contribution this week….
Just back from Evans Head, so peaceful and heaps of those graceful birds, pelicans.Loved the photo’s once again.

Magpies are a particular favourite of mine although I know that they have such a bad reputation but I always enjoy watching them

We had a family of magpies that we “belonged” to they visited every day and would bring their babies each year to introduce them to us and they would sit on the deck singing and warbling to us, they have such a beautiful song, we loved them, that is 2 of the babies in the photo. Then when we went away for a year travelling they had, sadly, moved on when we arrived back home

You always pick the best pictures, Pauline. I love pelicans. I remember doing a book report on them when I was eight years old, and I’ve loved them since. That beak!
