Here is a splash of colour and the scent of summer for my Northern Hemisphere friends. I hope this will brighten your winter day and remind you of the summer to come.

For the short time I am at home I love to spend time in the garden. This morning I went round to record what is flowering at the moment.

    Yes I love the tropical plants, and the photos great, but like you after all these years I still miss the gentle daffodils and bluebells.

    • I agree Joan that field of golden daffodils is a great memory, but I don’t think I would like the cold weather that goes with them…

    Oh warming and bright indeed PP … I’ve now just gone in to the screen and picked a few of your blooms and set them in a vase on the side here 😉
    The sun has got his hat on here which is wonderful after the whole of yesterday had all the look of a post apocalypse vision … I jest not .. so DARKKKKK 🙂
