I’ve seen photos and they looked pretty amazing. If we can get back to Oz for a 3rd visit we will def be going West! Do you miss British flowers? Thinking of the snowdrop and bluebells woods we visited earlier this year.

If you come over to WA Susan, time your visit for August to September that is when the flowers are at their best. Here is a link to some photos of the flowers. https://pommepal.wordpress.com/2013/02/04/wild-weekly-photo-challenge-flowers/
I do miss the British flowers especially all the spring bulbs, I have tried to grow them over here but our winters are not cold enough and the summers too humid in Queensland. But we are going to Canberra next month and it is very cold winters there so will see spring flowers this year

Thanks Dianne. The ospreys have poles with platforms built for them along the beach so they have some where to nest.

You must look out for the green flash PP … I never believed it until I saw it on one of our far flung holidays . Love sunsets …that sand looks beautiful and silky .
What a mighty Osprey you captured !

Not heard of green flash before Poppy. When does it occur?

It’s the VERY VERY last millisecond moment when the sun disappears down behind the horizon … usually seen best sinking into the sea PP . A tiny little burst of greenish light is what I saw as I kept staring and staring and not blinking … magic 🙂

Will look for it, we can watch from the front deck, lucky us…

I thought of you Cindy when I saw that osprey. The man that drew our attention to it said it comes there most evenings, so will have to go down for another photo session.

We are just across the road from the beach Sue, so when we saw this sky we grabbed our cameras and rushed across to catch it.
