A to Z Weekly Challenge : Early morning and Elvis…

early morning Tiaro Mary river 026_4000x3000

Early morning, that magical time of day when the mist drifts across the river and swirls gently through the gum trees. The air seems to hold its breath while the world awakes to a million possibilities.

Across the ocean the rays of the rising sun tint the sand in pastel pinks and gold and the waves ebb and flow to the waking call of another day.

Meanwhile in another place and another time,

Well I must say Jack looks right at home, I am up early to usually see balloons going up in the air from the park at the backx

  2. greetings with ELVIS

    • Hi Fizztext, thank you for sending me an Elvis clip unfortunately it would not open for me, it said “contains content from SME. It is restricted on certain sites” Do you know what that means?

  3. Wonderful juxtaposition, Pomme 🙂 And that liquid sunrise is just so special. Fabulous shot!

  4. You had me at Elvis 😎

That morning ocean is just fantastic (reminds me of my younger ‘surfer’ years) 😉

  5. Magical sunrise ;pics, Pommepal. I really love the colours in second one. Fun pic of Elvis lookalikes. I think that if Elvis had lived, today, he would probably look more like Jack, but maybe not in such good shape. 🙂

    • I agree Jack is much fitter than Elvis would be. If he was still alive Elvis would now be 79. I loved Elvis when I was a teenager.
      Jack loved your comment Ad

  6. I am not an early morning person, but oh I think I could be if I had such a glorious beach to walk on. Such gorgeous pastel shades, and the mist through the gum trees is delightful PP 🙂
    Jude xx

    • I don’t get up that early regularly but always say to myself “I should do this more often” on the days I do make the effort…
