Early Morning Activity

A very early morning walk along the beach is a complete contrast to the last post.

It is 5am the sun is just appearing on the horizon.

Delicate pinks and greys light up the sky. A gentle soft breeze ruffles the ocean and waves peel off in perfect surfing breaks.

Then the sun arrives with a pallet of fire and briefly tints the ocean molten gold before bathing the world in that glorious glow of the golden hour.

    • Thank you Ann for your comment and interest. I use a Cannon sx40, not a DSLR but a few more controls to play with than the smaller digital cameras

      • sigh … it is, but it doesn’t look like that will happen until later in the year. I like visiting Australia either in the late February/early March or late November/early December. The best way to visit Australia from the US is to look for flight/hotel bargains early, so a February visit is not going to happen. I’m feeling the call big time, tho!

    • So very peaceful Christine. A small coffee kiosk opens at 6am for the coffee addicts to get their early morning fix… 🙂
