Wild Weekly Photo Challenge : People in Nature

We love to explore, and being out in the beauty of nature revitalized and inspires us. These are some of the activities we have enjoyed in the past 2 years of travelling around Australia…

If you look carefully you can just see our small van parked on the left hand side of the above photo. This was one of the free camping areas we found in Western Australia. We love freedom camping, sometimes you are alone, other times a few like-minded people share the space with you. Then there is the joy of camp cooking…

The best way to really absorb the sights and sounds of nature is to sit and sketch.

This is my contribution to the “Wild Weekly Photo Challenge” click this link take a look at the other competitors,  they set a very high standard of photography and I felt honoured last week, to receive an honourable mention with my photo of the crocodile (see it here).

  1. Marvellous photos, Pommepal. Love the one of flying across the rain forest. 🙂 Cheers to you and your glass of wine. 🙂

  2. Australia is such a beautiful place, perhaps someday I’ll make it there to see it for myself. I enjoy many of the activities you shared in your images, most notably hiking, camp fire cooking, and sketching in nature (although my sketches are not that good).

  3. Love these photos, Pauline. That first picture of Jack should be in some kind of commercial. That is one of the happiest pictures I’ve ever seen. Campfire with a glass of wine is pretty good, too. 😉

    • Thanks Maddie, Jack liked your comment about him, he is a very happy person and he just loves wearing those “happy pants” they are great conversation starters…One of the best times of the travelling day is “happy hour” either on our own or with others we meet up with
