I am loving having a cable internet connection, it is SO fast.
It is hot outside, so what better thing to do than explore the WordPress options. Have you had a browse through them lately? The number of theme options is mind-boggling. I am a Pisces and one of their characteristics is indecision, procrastination, inability to make up my mind…
I have travelled and been blogging for over 3 years now and thought it was time for a change, a new look, a new direction. What better time to start than at the beginning of a new year. Well over an hour later this is what I decided on.
For the next 3-4 months I will be at home. It is too hot for me to travel and stay in Matilda. That will not stop me exploring, as this area of Australia is a tourist hot-spot. So I will venture out, camera in hand, and show you some of the beauty and interesting things in the South-east corner of Queensland.
The new header is the beach I call home, Burleigh Beach on the Goldcoast. In the distance is Burleigh Heads National Park.

In the coming days I will take you for a walk around this cool, shady and historical bush area in the very centre of Burleigh.

Love the GC even though we live at Mudgeeraba, we still get to walk at Burleigh, how I love the thought of your fast connection, we live in a dead spot they tell us, have been investigating, which one did you get, Telstra????love the new look and looking forward to your travels on the GC.

What a great idea!! I am right on the cusp with Pisces. As an Aquarian I am a fixed sign ,but I love change and I too am ready for a new look!!

I’m fine with work based decisions, but when it comes to personal stuff, I just tend to float & see what happens. I do have problems with reality & wanting to escape though. Classic Piscean stuff- we all escape something- some through denial, some through travel, some through books.

si, the internet connection is frustrating, but i’ve been dealing with that for a dozen years, so most of the time i adaptp. if i upload images, i select the task and the upload begins. then i walk away and cook lunch or something!
this morning i tried watching a short video clip of a guy who is in rehabilitation from a broken spine. amazing story.. it took about two hours to load the short video and finally play it. it was worth it.
late at night the connection is faster. yesterday i had painted most of the day but stopped to play catchup on wordpress. thanks so much! z

Before the cable connection I also found late at night or early morning to be the best times for getting the connection. I used to get frustrated visiting the blogs I follow as they took so long to load then would drop out….

‘Whatever’ is a prompt cooperative response to some difficult questions. I use it myself it is a Taoist responce to go with the flow.
