The day after we got down off the Alps it started to rain and it poured down. The rain was so heavy and the visibility so bad through the windscreen that I had to pull over till it eased a bit. We decided to pull into the first camp ground we came to.
Tallangatta is a small village on the banks of Lake Hume, part of a hydro dam and for only the second time in the trip we decided to book into a cabin. We stayed 2 days and on the second night there was this beautiful sunset and next day the weather had cleared to a perfect sunny day.
