The weather is perfect, warm and sunny with a gentle breeze and no humidity. The roads are in excellent condition so the driving is good and the scenery is pure Aussie bush all gold and stretching endlessly to the horizon. The wattles are in flower and we are stopping to take lots of photos.
This is now crocodile country so no swimming in any billabongs or any other sort of water holes. Some of the caravan parks are very modern with good facilities and most have swimming pools, which we make good use of…
