Today we passed acres and acres of sugarcane in flower, the sun back lighting it made it irradesent. It is hard to capture its glowing beauty in a photo but it was like driving through a magic landscape, it took our breath away and we kept stopping and trying to capture it on film.

Another 404km day and we are back at the camp ground at O’Connell River just 20km south of Proserpine. We like it here so may stay a couple of days to catch our breath…
