On the road again…

Well at long last we are ready to go again. Tomorrow will be D-day (departure day). It has been mixed emotions for the past 7 weeks. We enjoyed getting together with our friends, and it is always great to be on the Goldcoast, but Jack was so sick for about 3 weeks we thought it may be the end of the travels, but he has bounced back to 100% and we have been super busy for the past week down sizing the amount of equipment we are taking with us. As usual with travel you always take more than you need, just in case… So the first trip was a good trial run as to what we really need with us, and now we have even got spare room in the cupboards. In fact I am worried I have forgotten something of importance!!!!

Originally we planned to go up via the centre and visit Longreach, Winton etc, but the weather is now approx 3deg at night time in those districts,, way too cold, so we will go as quickly as possible up the east coast till we get to the warmer weather, approx Townsville, then slow down again.

So watch this spot…
