Here it is….

We are very excited to have found our home on wheels…

Jack is ready to climb aboard and take off.

Jack is all ready to climb aboard and take off…

We had it for 2 days to have a trial run. We cruised along the motorway to Kingscliff then found the steepest hill to test it out.  Took it for a  “road worthy certificate”. It passed with flying colours. Now it has gone back to Eric, the former owner, to have a gas certificate inspection, then tomorrow we pick it up…

It is a 1997  Hiace with the interior fitted out with a Ballina camper van  Freedom design layout. Perfect, just exactly what we have been looking for. Bed is at the back, fridge, microwave, gas cooker and plenty of storage and an awning on the side.

We are now very motivated to get the house packed away into the flat and be ready to go next year, which isn’t very far away.

    Hi Jack & Pauline,
What a great looking van, you should have lots of travel free miles in it, looking forward to seeing it when we come home again, I did put something on another bit but don’t know if you will get it, a lesson is what I need on my computer, so if you have time when we return we will get to- gether.
I guess the pipe on the front is to house the frame for the annex, have you had a drive yet Jack or is that a NO NO
