A list….

 You know how you have jobs that really need doing but some how they are always put off till tomorrow? Well in our house hold tomorrow has arrived…

You know how you can live with some untidy aspect of your house  for years, but if some one else is moving in all of a sudden you start to frantically clean and mend?

Well Joyce has moved out of the flat and left it immaculately clean and we have started to sort all our cupboards and move “stuff”, which we really cannot part with, down there and also making a slowly growing pile of garage sale items. 

Today we began the painting of the decks, a job that has not been done in the 11 years we have lived here. They were distinctly shabby looking and well past the time they should-be  done, but now we have finally made a start on one of the major items on the list it feels our travel plans have moved into top gear, and it feels good…
